What is an Independent Health Advocate?

The Alliance of Professional Advocates defines Independent Health Advocacy as those Advocates “that do not work for a particular hospital or insurance company.  They work for the individual patient. "

"The overall goal is to provide  patients and caregivers with the support and education they need so they  can make their own decisions about their next steps. The advocate is  the one person who has the background and knowledge needed to make the  patient’s journey as smooth as possible."

I offer both patients and caregivers peace of mind knowing a professional is handling the important  details.  You can focus on your health, your loved ones  and your daily life.
